I hold a B.I.D. in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute and an M.S. in Integrated Design, Business, and Technology from the University of Southern California.

Growing up in an immigrant family in the South Bay, I had little exposure to the art and design fields, yet I found myself naturally gravitating toward them. Navigating college and career paths on my own, I learned the value of taking initiative and building connections to get opportunities.

In high school, personal circumstances took a toll on my academic performance, and a 2.7 GPA led guidance counselors to discourage my aspirations for higher education. I went on to earn acceptances to the design programs at USC and UCLA, along with merit scholarships from Pratt Institute and Parsons.

I have 8+ years of experience in the design discipline across high-end furniture design, start-ups, and big tech. I was a Product Designer at Meta for three years before traveling within the States and across the globe to learn from master craftsmen to gain fluency in ceramics, glassblowing, woodworking, metalworking, and textiles.

Having pushed through the noise and limitations once imposed on me, I am dedicated to passing down useful information to bring clarity and guidance to the next generation.
